Scarborough Art Gallery

Smith-Madame-EnnuiScarborough Art Gallery offers a chance to view works from the Borough's permanent collections. Two rooms are devoted to oils and watercolours of Scarborough by nineteenth century artists such as Wilson Carmichael and Atkinson Grimshaw. Also on display are nationally important artists from the twentieth century such as Ivon Hitchens and Matthew Smith.

Hitchens--Summer-WildernessThe Gallery also offers a coffee bar and a colourful resource room designed especially for families with children. Come along to draw, read, dress up or to see art work by local children.

The Gallery is known for its respected programme of temporary exhibitions.
